Baby Boom

It seems everyone I know is having a baby right now! So, if you have had a baby recently, or your kid has grown up a bit since I last saw them, please send me a picture, either via email or regular snail mail; I’d love to see them. With your permission, I’d like to post them on this here blog.

Thanks to Kathleen Oudit, who sent me pictures of her lovely sister Asha, her husband Blaz and their gorgeous son Luka in Newcastle, Australia.I was Asha and Blaz’s houseboy (nicknamed Raoul, for any WKRP fans out there) for a few days when I crashed on their couch for a week in Manly Beach in Sydney, Australia back in 2002. Also, thanks to the exquisite Pia Poblete, who I’ve known since way back, for sending a link to photos of her beautiful son Noah, who just came back from seeing his father in England.

My former colleague at KGIC Toronto, Ryan Eden, sent me a great picture of his daughter eating a chicken nugget (sorry Ryan I forgot her name!).

Of course, my cousin Hubert’s son Ethan has been featured on this blog, as has my latest godchild, Anjali, who is my cousin Judy’s daughter in the Philippines.

It almost makes me want to go out and have a kid of my own…almost.

If I missed mentioning anyone’s recent offspring, it was purely accidental. Let me know and I’ll re-edit this post.

And should you have any other photos, children or otherwise, please send them too. It’s always nice to see some familiar faces, even if they’re in print or on a computer screen!
